While there are countless exciting products for stamping available, you can create beauitful cards with just a few necessary items. With simple layers and stamped images, your card will be a unique work of art. Here we will share our preferred products to get you started.
Cardstocks (white, plus your favorite colors)
Onyx Black Versafine ink pad
ATG Tape Dispenser (glue stick or double stick tape will also work)
Paper trimmer
Scissors
Markers
Quickie glue pen
And of course, your favorite DeNami stamps!
Cardstocks: This is your canvas. Cardstock will hold up well to the inking and coloring. Stamping a pattern on one layer of cardstock then stamping a new image to another layer is the simplest way to make an easy yet elegant card.
Ink Pads: For all around stamping, we love the Versafine line of ink pads. Quick-drying and waterproof, they are a perfect go-to ink pad for virtually all your stamping needs. A basic black is indispensible, but other versatile choices could be the Vintage Sepia or Majestic Blue.
ATG Tape Dispenser: Any adhesive will work to hold your cards together, but for serious stampers, we highly recommend the ATG Tape Dispenser. This is a worthwhile investment, and the tape refills are priced very well, too.
Paper Trimmer: Because no one wants to try to cut out everything by hand! A must for quick and easy layers.
Scissors: Another basic but necessary tool. Sharp is better!
Markers: We love the rich, saturated colors a marker will bring to our images, but some stampers prefer colored pencils or watercolors. Choose your favorite color palettes to work with. Keep in mind your colored cardstocks, too.
Quickie Glue Pen: The DeNami Design secret weapon! More on this in the Finishing Touches. Suffice to say, your cards will truly sparkle when you use this.
